[NEWS] AUTISM: LAGOS GOVT PROMISES TO BUILD EARLY INTERVENTION CENTRES

LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT HAS PROMISED TO BUILD TWO EARLY INTERVENTION CENTRES IN SOME STRATEGIC LOCATIONS IN THE STATE TO CATER FOR CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM AUTISM.

THE SPECIAL ADVISER TO GOV. AKINWUNMI AMBODE ON SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, JOYCE ONAFOWOKAN, SAID THIS ON TUESDAY, AT A TWO-DAY 8TH ANNUAL AUTISM PROGRAMME AT VICTORIA ISLAND.

ONAFOWOKAN, ADDED THAT THE STATE GOVERNOR IS FULLY COMMITTED TO ENSURING THAT FACILITIES WHICH WILL BE THE FIRST OF ITS KIND ARE PROVIDED TO BRIDGE THE GAP AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE WITH AUTISM.
